Commercial Finance Manager

REMONDIS is seeking an experienced Commercial Finance Manager to oversee all commercial aspects of our Victorian business operations. This full-time permanent role, based in Dandenong South, offers exceptional leadership opportunities across our growing network of ten Victorian branches.

This key role involves an overview of all commercial aspects of the VIC business’s operation and its positioning within REMONDIS. The role is required to provide You'll provide strategic leadership for our Commercial Finance function, quality commercial advice, strategic input, accurate reporting, maintain internal controls, facilitate accurate costings, co-ordinate the budget process, drive improvement initiatives and raise financial awareness across the Business.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead the Commercial Finance function across Victoria
  • Drive business performance initiatives and process improvements
  • Promote accurate, timely reporting aligned with REMONDIS policies
  • Champion safety and environmental compliance culture

Financial Management

  • Oversee month-end processes, P&L commentaries, and reporting systems
  • Prepare detailed annual budgets and interim forecasts
  • Support management with tendering and acquisition activities
  • Maintain effective financial and operational reporting systems

Capital Expenditure & Asset Management

  • Prepare and submit capital expenditure requests and asset disposals
  • Ensure robust internal controls protect company assets

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified accountant (CA, CPA, or equivalent) with senior commercial finance experience
  • Proven leadership experience managing finance teams
  • Strong business partnering skills with ability to influence stakeholders
  • Experience coordinating multi-site operations
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on approach to improvement initiatives
  • Knowledge of waste management or industrial operations preferred
