Frequently Asked Questions

You will need a valid HR license

The hourly rate and conditions vary according to the state, the role and your experience. Where possible we outline the pay rate for each role on the job ad.

Any one driver is on the road for an average of 40 hours a week. We have flexible start times ranging from 12am - 5am. An early start means an early finish!

Yes. Our Driver Sign-On Bonus program provides a bonus of up to $3000 to eligible drivers, paid in stages during your first six months with REMONDIS. 

Although experience within the waste industry is an advantage, we consider experience from various industries.  

Once you submit your application online, our dedicated recruitment team will review it. If your skills and experience match the requirements of the position, you will be contacted for a telephone screen and potentially invited to attend an interview. Successful candidates will proceed to the final recruitment stages including pre-employment medical checks and online reference checking. If you are the successful candidate for the position, you will receive a formal offer of employment. 

We provide all our new employees with thorough on the job training, and continual training throughout your journey with Remondis Australia. Giving greater opportunities to expand your skillset.

Driver Sign-On Bonus

Eligible newly recruited Drivers will receive a Driver Sign-On Bonus under a program designed to encourage good quality drivers to come on board with REMONDIS.

 

What do new Drivers receive?

A eligible successful Driver will receive a Sign-On Bonus of $3000, paid in two stages:

  • $1000 8 weeks after they commence
  • $2000 after 6 months of employment (probation period)

Conditional upon meeting performance standards.
