What you’ll be doing

• Collecting and transporting multiple waste streams including general waste, cardboard, plastics, and recyclables
• Operating and maintaining modern, well-equipped vehicles
• Completing daily pre-start checks, safety documentation, and required paperwork
• Working safely on active commercial sites alongside heavy vehicles and machinery
• Ensuring compliance with Workplace Health & Safety requirements and National Heavy Vehicle Regulations
• Maintaining a professional appearance and a clean, organized work environment

What you’ll bring

• A valid HC license, Heave Combination
• Experience driving Hook Lift and Truck & Trailer combinations is preferred
• Waste management experience (advantageous but not essential)
• Strong knowledge of transport safety and compliance
• Understanding of Chain of Responsibility and Fatigue Management
