ICT Manager - Architecture & Data

REMONDIS Australia, a global leader in waste management and recycling, are looking for an ICT Manager – Architecture to join our team based in Mascot NSW.

In this role you'll will work closely with internal and external stakeholders across a huge variety of projects and provide leadership, advice and recommendations on all aspects of technology to the business, taking steps to ensure that it is properly understood and that technology capabilities are appropriately utilised.


Key Responsibilities:  

  • Lead our architecture and data functions to strengthen capabilities and deliver strategic outcomes.
  • Shape and maintain our Enterprise Architecture framework and plans.
  • Design application and infrastructure roadmaps, plus set technology standards and blueprints.
  • Collaborate with business and ICT stakeholders to ensure technology decisions align with priorities.
  • Provide clear advice and leadership on technology so it’s understood and used effectively.
  • Keep ICT and business strategies aligned and evolving.
  • Support the Executive General Manager ICT in developing technology strategies.
  • Define data management frameworks and governance.
  • Drive master data management, migration, and archiving initiatives.
  • Champion data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
  • Build a central reporting hub for accurate, near real-time insights.
  • Stay ahead of technology trends and share practical recommendations.
  • Offer expertise during mergers and acquisitions.
  •  Foster a positive, collaborative team environment.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • TOGAF or Enterprise Architecture certification
  • 10+ years in architecture roles
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to bridge business and technology to deliver value
  • Experience with complex portfolios and strict security standards
  • Skilled in applying architecture patterns and standards across projects
  • Knowledge of systems, applications, hardware, and software
  • Familiar with architectural and IT standards
  • Confident presenting to governance bodies
  • Deep understanding of business technologies and trends
  • Collaborative, professional, and able to influence senior stakeholders
  • Proven leadership and mentoring experience
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills
