Your Role:

We’re hiring a Major Account Manager to join our QLD team at Tanawha. In this role, you’ll manage and grow relationships with key accounts while developing new business opportunities. No limits—every business generates waste, and you’ll have the autonomy to drive growth without restrictions.

 

What you’ll Do:

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with major clients, ensuring loyalty and retention.
  • Develop new business opportunities within a set client portfolio, focusing on sustainable and profitable growth.
  • Lead contract renewals and drive service extensions through strategic account planning.
  • Promote a Zero Harm safety culture, identifying potential hazards to protect customers and employees.
  • Work closely with Operations to deliver seamless service and meet client needs.
  • Keep accurate records of client activity and provide insights into market trends and competitor activity.

 

Who You Are:

  • A seasoned B2B sales professional, with experience managing major accounts and driving revenue growth.
  • A strategic thinker who knows how to influence decision-makers and negotiate successfully.
  • A self-starter, You’re able to maintain prospect and lead information in our system, ensuring you use our systems and resources to support your success
  • A clear communicator, adept at crafting tenders, proposals, and persuasive presentations using Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Driven and resilient, ready to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • You have a natural ability to build trusted relationships with decision makers, with an ability to influence and negotiate.
  • Whilst experience in the waste arena is a nice to have, more important to us is the drive, motivation and flexibility required to succeed in a high growth, dynamic environment.
