The Role

In this newly created role, reporting directly to the COO, you will manage multiple high-impact projects aimed at improving operational consistency and efficiency. Working closely with state and regional teams, you’ll be responsible for driving operational excellence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage process improvement projects that enhance productivity, standardise operations, and streamline logistics.
  • Develop and implement systems that optimise processes and improve overall operational performance.
  • Project manage the integration of acquired businesses, ensuring smooth transitions into REMONDIS' established systems and procedures.
  • Collaborate on strategic business development projects, including tender submissions and new business initiatives.
  • Create consistency in reporting and operational metrics to drive continuous improvement across the business.

What You’ll Need:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in operations management, business, logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in waste and recycling operations, or similar industries.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a focus on process improvement and project management.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex operational projects from conception to implementation.
  • Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • A collaborative and data-driven mindset, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
