What you’ll be doing
- Lead daily job allocation, route scheduling, and operational coordination to ensure accurate, efficient, and cost-effective service delivery.
- Maintain full visibility across operations, resolving issues proactively, supporting drivers throughout the day, and completing end-of-day debriefs.
- Support driver inductions, training, coaching, and ongoing performance development to build a high-performing team.
- Build strong relationships with CSG clients, subcontractors, landowners, and internal stakeholders, delivering responsive, high-quality customer service.
- Work with clients and operations staff to plan daily runs, forecast workloads, optimise routes, and manage subcontractor and service performance.
- Coordinate fleet maintenance with the workshop and manage incident follow-ups, reporting, operational documentation, and audit requirements.
What you’ll bring
- Proven supervisory or leadership experience in operations, logistics, transport, waste, or CSG/coal-related industries.
- Strong skills in scheduling, allocation, dispatch, resource planning.
- Ability to working effectively in a in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities, with confidence engaging drivers, clients, and stakeholders.
- High attention to detail with strong administration, reporting, and Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel).
- Local knowledge of Chinchilla and the surrounding region, including the CSG industry, field layouts, and site operational requirements.
