The Role:

We’re currently hiring a dedicated Plant Operator to join our team at Dandenong South, Victoria. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, perfect for someone who’s hands-on and ready to grow in the waste management industry.

You’ll be involved in operating our Liquid Treatment Plant, helping to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant handling of liquid waste materials.

What You Will Do:

• Operate and monitor the performance of the Liquid Treatment Plant and driving HR vehicles on site from time to time.
• Carry out sampling and basic testing of liquid waste
• Operate equipment as instructed, ensuring waste meets specifications for disposal or recovery
• Work closely with Plant Team Leaders to manage day-to-day waste processing activities
• Maintain clear and accurate records of operational processes
• Ensure required supplies and tools are available to support plant operations
• Conduct routine checks and minor maintenance on equipment, reporting any issues
• Follow all safety, quality, and environmental guidelines

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

• A current HR driver’s license is essential
• Previous experience as a plant operator
• Waste industry experience is a plus but not essential
• Willingness to work early morning shifts
• Basic level of literacy and numeracy
• A strong commitment to safe work practices
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
