We're hiring

• We offer a casual contract with consistent workload with our team at Mugga Lane, ACT
• Early starts from 6:00am to 7:30am, with shifts up to 10 hours per day
• Monday to Friday rotating roster - every second Sunday is required

What you’ll be doing

• Operating a range of machinery across landfill to manage and compact waste, including dozers and compactors
• Performing laboring and clean-up duties
• Handling incoming waste: stockpiling, compacting, and processing materials
• Screening and sorting waste to ensure correct disposal
• Inspecting customer loads and managing different waste streams

What you’ll bring

• Current driver license and experience is essential
• Ticket and experience with dozer and compactor
• Hands-on experience as a plant operator; landfill or waste facility is preferred
• Willingness to work in a hands-on environment
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and commitment to safety
