What you’ll be doing

• Operating plant equipment such as Excavator, Loader and Forklift.
• Supporting daily transfer station operations
• Eventually assisting with Weighbridge transactions, taking payments and providing customer service.
• Handling and moving waste materials across the facility
• Loading/unloading waste, stockpiling, and processing materials
• Screening and sorting different waste streams to ensure correct disposal

What you’ll bring

• Previous experience as a plant operator, yard hand or labouring
• Excavator, Loader & Forklift tickets and/or experience are not required but desirable
• Previous experience in landfill or waste facility experience is beneficial
• Waste industry and transfer station experience highly regarded
• Willingness to work in a hands-on environment
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and commitment to safety
