Due to internal movement, we are excited to be hiring a Project Analyst to join our growing business based at our Tomago NSW site.

In this truly diverse role, you'll be providing meaningful analytical business insights and project management expertise to help build operational efficiencies, increase productivity and drive profitability. This role will suit you if you enjoy variety in the role, working with diverse stakeholders, conducting research and analysis, forecasting models and developing a business case for strategic operations as well as infrastructure related projects. 

With a continuous improvement lens, a natural bias for accuracy and placing data at the center of all your decision making, you'll play a critical role in the ongoing success of the Branches and will work closely with the Branch Managers to solve genuinely interesting real-world problems.

Who you are

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Commerce, Business, Environmental Science or other relevant field; 
  • Previous exposure to financial analysis, business reporting and due diligence;
  • Some experience with Environmental and Safety Legislation and licencing requirements would be ideal; 
  • Experience working in the industrial sector within an operational environment will set you up for success; 
  • Strong analytical expertise and financial acumen; 
  • Business case and Tender preparation experience; 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally;
  • Natural inclination for accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Continuous improvement lens;
  • Ability to self-manage and work to deadlines;
