Senior Integration Engineer

REMONDIS Australia, a global leader in waste management and recycling, are looking for a Senior Integration Engineer to join our team based in Mascot NSW.
In this role you'll design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade integration solutions using Microsoft Azure Integration Services. The role is pivotal in enabling seamless connectivity, integrations and automation across systems and applications, leveraging modern development methodologies and cloud-native technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of enterprise integration solutions that enable seamless connectivity across systems and applications.
- Collaborate with ICT and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust integration designs.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational architecture and compliance standards.
- Drive the adoption of modern integration patterns and best practices across the team.
- Oversee the full integration lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
- Continuously monitor and optimize integration performance to meet service-level objectives.
- Champion automation and efficiency in integration delivery processes.
- Act as a trusted advisor on integration-related matters within the organization.
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, API Management).
- Hands on experience with messaging and event-driven patterns (Pub/Sub, CQRS).
- Hands-on experience with Azure Functions and serverless architectures.
- Strong experience with RESTful APIs and secure API design.
- Proficiency in data transformation (JSON, XML, XSLT).
- Familiarity with authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect).
- Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools, preferably GitHub.
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python).
- Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
