We are hiring for a Customer Service Officer to join our team.

Step into a business that offers invaluable solutions to customers managing their waste and recycling needs.  You’ll work with resident, business and council customers on a wide range of queries, where you’ll work out solutions and ensure they feel well looked after.  

What you’ll be doing

As the Customer Service Officer, you are the true voice of the customer and often the face of our business for many of our customers.  

You’ll work to resolve customer issues, which involves engaging with most teams across the business to deliver on a range of activities such as raising work orders, assisting customer onboarding, following up driver requirements and much more. No day is ever the same! 

Skills and Experience

You'll have prior experience with business customers, in either a customer care or support role and working with SLAs. Ideally you'll be experienced with Salesforce and enjoy working in a busy, supportive team environment.

• Customer Centric: Key to the success of this role is being customer-centric, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike.

• Solution orientated: You’ll use your positive attitude and natural ability to solve problems to great effect in this role, did we mention no two days are the same?!

• Organisation: Timeliness and organisation are key in this role, that means knowing what to prioritise and having a clear sense of urgency

• Communication: Your passion for people will be evident.  You'll be a great communicator, with the ability to engage and inform customers

• Attributes: Whilst experience in the waste arena is a nice to have, more important to us is the drive, motivation and resilience required to succeed in a high growth, dynamic environment
