Purpose and Responsibilities:

We’re looking for an experienced HR Specialist to join our team and play a key role in supporting our people and leaders. This is a dynamic role that blends HR advisory with business partnering, offering you the opportunity to make a real impact across a range of workforce matters. This is an exciting time to join the business as we navigate a period of transformation.

As the first point of contact for your assigned business units, you will provide practical, hands-on HR advice to managers and employees, coach leaders through performance reviews and people management challenges, and partner with them to build capability and drive positive outcomes. You will interpret and apply Enterprise Agreements, awards, and legislation, leverage data to spot trends and inform decisions, and contribute to key HR projects and organisational change initiatives, making a real impact as the business evolves.

Some of the key responsibilities are:

· Drive HR as a strategic business partner: Provide proactive, hands-on HR support and expert advice to leaders and teams, enabling effective people management practices that align with business goals and legal requirements.

· Lead by example and hands-on: Guide leaders on HR processes and procedures to ensure compliance, governance, and consistent application of policies.

· Champion performance and leadership development: Empower managers to deliver high-impact performance management, foster leadership growth, and build a resilient, high-performing workforce that fuels business success.

· Deliver strategic HR projects: Partner with HR leadership to plan and execute key initiatives that enhance employee engagement, operational efficiency, and organisational agility.

· Leverage HR analytics for business impact: Track and analyse critical HR metrics, delivering actionable insights and reports that inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement.

· Provide practical HR advice: Coach and support managers and employees on day-to-day people matters, grievances, and workforce challenges.

· Provide Industrial Relations advice: Interpret and apply Enterprise Agreements, awards, and workplace legislation to ensure compliance and informed decision-making.

· Empower organisational change: Support initiatives and continuous improvement activities, contributing to the business’s transformation journey.

Experience and Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Social Science or a related field (desirable)

· Strong experience as an HR Advisor or junior business partner

· Sound experience in industrial relations and Enterprise Bargaining

· Sound experience in workplace investigations

· Experience in change management and establishing policies, procedures and processes

· Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with excellent Excel skills.

· Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

· Effective communication abilities for collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Please note that this role is based at our head office in Mascot, NSW. There is an ability to work from home one day a week.
