We are currently looking for a management accountant to join the REMONDIS NSW/ACT finance team, based in St Marys, NSW on a 13 month Max - term contract.

What you’ll love

In this role you will:

  • Assist with managing the financial functions of the NSW Metro & ACT businesses
  • Assist with ensuring the day to day functions of the Shared Services Admin/Finance team are completed including but not limited to reporting, submitting journals, GL & other reconciliations, purchase order review and approvals.
  • Providing advice on the financial status of the business
  • Monthly Profit and Loss forecasting including variance commentary
  • Contribute towards the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
  • Ad-hoc projects and tasks as directed
  • Liaise with Operational Managers & staff regarding financial matters
  • Adhere to strict reporting timeframes
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy at all times
  • Assist and support the Commercial & Finance Manager NSW/ ACT
  • Actively contribute to a positive teamwork environment 
  • Communicate openly and honestly at all times

What you bring

  • Bachelor degree in commerce or business or a similar discipline
  • CA/CPA qualified

  • Experience in Management accounting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 is desirable but not essential)

  • Strong time management skills, working in teams to meet tight deadlines

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Intermediate to advanced)
