The Opportunity

We are currently seeking experienced MC Drivers for a 2-year project supporting one of our valued clients at a solar farm in Merriwa, NSW. This role offers the unique opportunity to work and live on-site, with accommodation and meals provided, competitive hourly rates, penalty rates, and plenty of overtime available.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Collecting and transporting multiple waste streams including general waste, cardboard, plastics, and recyclables
• Operating and maintaining modern, well-equipped vehicles
• Completing daily pre-start checks, safety documentation, and required paperwork
• Working safely on active commercial sites alongside heavy vehicles and machinery
• Ensuring compliance with Workplace Health & Safety requirements and National Heavy Vehicle Regulations
• Maintaining a professional appearance and a clean, organised work environment
• Building strong relationships with clients and site stakeholders

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience driving MC vehicles, including Hook Lift and Truck & Trailer combinations
• Waste management experience (advantageous but not essential)
• Strong knowledge of transport safety and compliance
• Understanding of Chain of Responsibility and Fatigue Management
• Ability to work independently while also being a reliable team player
• Strong communication skills with a customer-first approach
• A positive, respectful, and safety-focused attitude
