About the Role
We’re looking for a high-performing Operations Supervisor to lead our fast-paced operations team.

Based in Tanawha, Sunshine Coast, QLD, this permanent, full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm.

You will oversee daily run allocation, performance monitoring, safety, and compliance, providing strong leadership and support to staff while delivering exceptional service to our council, commercial, and residential contracts.

This role also involves attending after-hours emergency callouts when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate daily job allocation, ensuring accurate and efficient scheduling of drivers, routes, and vehicles
  • Manage and monitor subcontractors to ensure high performance, compliance, and service quality
  • Supervise daily collection and recycling operations while maintaining strict safety, service, and environmental standards
  • Conduct end-of-day debriefs, monitor timelines and breaks, and ensure route completion
  • Maintain oversight of all daily operations, proactively resolving issues and supporting drivers
  • Support driver inductions, training, and ongoing development
  • Manage operational reporting, assist with incident follow-ups, and coordinate vehicle maintenance with both onsite and external workshops

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven supervisory or leadership experience in operations, logistics, fleet management, or similar fields
  • Experience in the waste or liquids industry highly regarded
  • Strong scheduling, dispatch, and resource planning skills
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-first mindset
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Tech-savvy with solid administration and Microsoft Office skills
