The opportunity
This is a permanent, full-time role, ideal for experienced, adaptable HR Driver who enjoy variety and have flexible availability. You’ll cover both planned and unplanned leave, with early starts (between 4:00–7:00am), mostly Monday to Friday, with some weekend and overtime opportunities.

You’ll work locally, drive a range of vehicles, and receive full training. Plus, enjoy a sign-on bonus of up to $3,000.

What you’ll be doing

• Step into various runs and services as needed, providing relief cover across a range of services and routes.
• Collect commercial waste streams: general waste, cardboard, plastic, bin delivery/removal, biosecurity waste
• Operate rear lift, front lift, hook lift, tautliner, and skip trucks
• Complete vehicle safety checks and compliance paperwork
• Build strong customer relationships
• Train with experienced drivers, with opportunities to mentor others

What you’ll bring

• Minimum 2 years’ experience driving HR trucks (such us Front Lift, Rear Lift & Hook Lift)
• Current HR license and clean driving record
• Waste industry experience is highly desirable
• Flexible and dependable with strong communication skills
• Understanding of Chain of Responsibility and Fatigue Management
• Willingness to work across different trucks and routes
• A positive, respectful, and responsible approach to work and other team members.
