What you’ll love

We are hiring for a Night Supervisor to join our Rocklea, Queensland team.

Reporting to the Operations Manager Transfer Stations and Transport, the night supervisor is a critical role responsible to manage the night-time operations onsite to ensure safe and effective night shift operations at the transfer station at Rocklea.

You’ll supervise the onsite contractors and manage escalations from customers as well as truck drivers accessing the site. Your ability to work collaboratively, identify and respond to emergency situations in a safe and compliant way as per Remondis policies and procedures will help you succeed in the role.

You’ll have the autonomy and scope to drive smooth night operations at the transfer station, along with a supportive leadership to back you up with years of best-in-class waste management experience.

Who you are

Coming from a logistics/plant operations or a similar background, this role will suit you if you enjoy the challenges of managing busy site operations, minimising safety incidents with smooth day to day operations ensuring a delightful customer experience.

• You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage diverse operational staff and onsite issues effectively.  
• Dozer and Loader ticket (desirable).
• Ability to work 6pm - 4am, Monday to Friday night shifts.
• Experience working with MS-Office/Outlook emails and safety systems.
• Whilst experience in the waste arena is a nice to have, more important to us is the drive, motivation and resilience required to succeed in a high growth, dynamic environment
