Who we are:

REMONDIS Australia, one of the country’s leading waste management companies, is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Weighbridge Operator to join our operations team at Tomago, NSW.

In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers and a key player in the daily operation of the weighbridge, ensuring accurate recording of vehicle movements and compliance with site procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the weighbridge system accurately and efficiently
• Record vehicle movements, weights, and associated documentation
• Communicate clearly with drivers, site operations, and administration
• Monitor and manage traffic flow safely on site
• Assist with reporting, data entry, and documentation using Microsoft Excel
• Operate the Material Recovery Facility
• Understand Mass Management and Chain of Responsibility principles

You Will Bring:

• Previous experience as a weighbridge operator, in traffic management, or similar operational environments
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Confidence using Excel and basic reporting tools
• Reliability, safety focus, and ability to work autonomously
• Flexibility and willingness to help with additional duties

We Offer:

• Full-time permanent role
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm, with some ad-hoc overtime opportunities
• Forklift license desirable; front-end loader ticket can be obtained for the right candidate
