Our team is growing, and we're looking for a Yard Hand who wants to be part of something that matters.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated Yard Hand to join our team in Picton NSW. This is full time permanent role with early starts (7 to 7.30am), plenty of overtime available and weekend work.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily cleanliness and manual handling of the general yard.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a forklift as required
• Assessing incoming loads
• Inform and direct the public about appropriate areas to put items they're disposing
• Assist in manually sorting waste and waste dumped in incorrect areas
• Operating the weighbridge.
• Learn to identify higher value non-ferrous items for recovery
• Performing additional yard duties as needed

What You'll Bring

• Forklift ticket is required.
• Previous laboring experience - in a similar role is an advantage.
• Valid driver's license
• Asbestos Awareness and Crystalline Silica Exposure Prevention certificates is an advantage.
