About the role:

As the Business Development Manager you will be reporting to the Regional Organics Manager, the Business Development Manager is responsible for the growth of our compost products, account management and development of new business opportunities across our two Organics Resource Recovery Facilities (ORRF’s) in NSW

The position is critical to achieving revenue and operational targets for REMONDIS’ Organics business across NSW and must maintain strong links with the Operational teams required for service delivery performance and customer satisfaction.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Building and managing a sales pipeline across your assigned territory
  • Cultivating strong, long-term customer relationships
  • Leveraging CRM systems to manage leads, track progress, and report results
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Identifying new market opportunities to maximise portfolio growth


What you’ll bring:

  • Qualifications in environmental science, agricultural science or engineering
  • 3-5 years Commercial or Operational experience in one of the following fields:
    • Organics processing / recycling
    • Primary Industries (agricultural, mining) Horticulture
  • Relationship management and stakeholder engagement
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Able to travel and manage work hours
  • Confidence using CRM systems and tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • A natural ability to connect with diverse stakeholders and industries
  • Resilience, motivation, and a growth mindset — we value attitude over ego
