About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Contracts and Tendering Manager to join our WA team based at the Jandakot operation. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of contracts and tenders to ensure compliance, efficiency, and profitability.

 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and grow profitable business from defined key current contracts to achieve budgetary and business plan objectives.
  • Manage existing predetermined major clients of REMONDIS Australia which will be retained and managed within this role, protect and grow existing client base through direct contact with client representatives and influencers at multiple levels.
  • Seek and investigate opportunities to extend and expand REMONDIS services through internal and external stakeholder collaboration.
  • Drive customer loyalty and retention through strategic sales planning, including but not limited to the provision of professional customer service and ensure all administrative duties are conducted effectively, efficiently and by due date.
  • Maintain key contract records and reporting as required.
  • Regularly liaise and work with Operations on customer service issues and service requirement deadlines to achieve optimal customer service outcomes.
  • Report on sales activity, customer and competitor activity, safety and site access issues, KPI’s and other requirements as requested.
  • Develop tender strategy in conjunction with key internal stakeholders and deliver Tender responses inline with strategy.

 

Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in business management or similar field would be beneficial.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in contracts management and tendering.
  • Strong influencing, negotiation, commercial acumen and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the waste management industry.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Engaged, motivated and a team collaborator.
  • Proficiency in MS Office packages.
