What You’ll be Doing
- Deliver engaging and informative waste education programs to residents, schools, and community groups.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with community organisations and key stakeholders
- Support and promote sustainability initiatives, including the Food Organics Garden Organics (FOGO) program.
- Conduct bin audits and provide guidance to residents on correct waste sorting and bin usage.
- Plan, coordinate and deliver awareness campaigns across social media and other communication platforms to promote the residential three bin system
- Represent REMONDIS as community events, schools, universities, and council meetings
- Collaborate with local councils to plan and implement waste education initiatives and activities
- Liaise and coordinate with Wollongong City Council and Shellharbour City Council to support program delivery and community engagement.

- Genuine interest in sustainability, recycling, and other environmental issues
- Strong communication skills, both in person and over the phone
- Confident, engaging and proactive approach
- Ability to ask meaningful questions, actively listen and deliver clear advice
