The Role

Reporting directly to the EGM Development/M&A, the Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst role forms an integral part of the team, which is responsible for development and implementation of REMONDIS’s mergers and acquisitions strategy.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Developing projections, reports and presentations regarding considered mergers and acquisitions
  • Performing financial forecasting and modelling
  • Discussing M&A opportunities with Senior Management
  • Preparing detailed evaluations of Merger and Acquisition targets, and preparation of proposals to the board
  • Organising and conducting due diligence in cooperation with Senior Management and Consultants
  • Coordinating key internal and external stake holders
  • Assist in REMONDIS Australia's market monitoring and market analysis
  • Conducting post merger / acquisition / project analysis
  • Assisting with post-merger integration

About you:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or similar
  • Strong financial background
  • Around years previous experience in a M&A, Due Diligence or Financial Analysis role 
  • Well-developed computer skills with great proficiency in Excel
  • Strong administrative, time management and organisational skills
  • High level of energy and intrinsic motivation
  • Exceptional organisational and planning skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High degree of resilience, curiosity and resourcefulness
