About the role:

This position is responsible for the full sales strategy and sales delivery for all aspects of REMONDIS service offerings, Industrial Services, Post Collections and Commercial & Industrial Collections.

The State Sales Manager will lead a team of Area Sales Managers (ASM), Major Account Managers (MAM) and Internal Sales Representatives (ISRs). They will have ultimate responsibility for their development through mentoring and the creation of a positive workplace culture.


How you will make an impact

  • Identify and pursue unique market opportunities where REMONDIS can sustainably secure market presence. This includes liquids, post collections and C&I collections.
  • Lead sales team members to achieve sales targets.
  • Implement, measure and monitor specific objectives for the sales team and individual members of the team/s to ensure delivery of sales targets.
  • Participate in the development of sales proposals, tender submissions and customer presentations.
  • Be a key stakeholder of the state’s management team to ensure operational direction in alignment with business objectives across the state.

Who you are:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Finance, Logistics, or other related areas
  • Professional Sales accreditations (desirable)
  • At least 5 years of sales leadership experience in the industrial sector
  • Proven team leadership experience including managing multiple teams with different objectives.
  • Sound understanding of all aspects of logistics, industrial services, hazardous waste, dangerous goods, and commercial waste.
  • Proven experience in business development and customer account management
  • Previous exposure to cross functional collaboration including sales, operations, finance, administration and customer service.
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.
